This is my final project created in the University of Miami Interactive Media "2D Character Development" class. We were tasked to create five cohesive characters with a unified theme.
Project Type: Adult Satire Comic
Concept: The main character is a chill yoga girl with a twist. She’s not who one might expect for a yogi—or is she? Sometimes she’s Zen. Sometimes she’s rowdy. Her critter friends help her express herself. They are her accomplices, alter egos, partners in crime and good deeds. But they are not all Zen. And only she can see them. They’re imaginary. Or are they?
Aesthetic: A combination of sketch and simple bold line with textured background to enrich the solid color fill.

Yoga Girl (main character): She’s a Zen girl always ready to ‘yoga’fy. She loves her mat (aka Mat), and it travels with her everywhere, even to the next PJ concert.

Punk Girl (alter ego #1): Rowdy anarchist Chameleon. She’s the tougher side of Yoga Girl.

Dude (alter ego #2): Iguana. Punk Girl’s sidekick. Some would say he’s a party animal. He smokes and drinks, and “everythings” too much. He’s a slacker who doesn’t care what anyone thinks.

Kitty (alter ego #3): Yoga Girl’s furry pet. She is sweet. Well, she’s a cat. Who wouldn’t love a furry kitty? Right? True to form, I’d watch out for her claws and fangs, psssttt. She may draw blood.

Squirrel (alter ego #4): Yoga Girl’s other furry pet. She is skittish, freaks out easily. Worry, worry, worry. She’s a runner. With your heart always aflutter, she needs the race.
